Design, down to the outlet.
In OIKEN, we think the smallest surfaces in a home deserve the same care as the furniture, the fixtures and the paint – and that nobody should need a renovation budget to get it.
We hope our attention to detail turns out to be a perfect fit for your interior.
How we decide.
Five rules. Every plate is measured against them before it ships.
-
01
Detail over scale
The plate is seen from eighteen inches away, in daylight, by someone who just spent a weekend painting. We would rather make a few hundred a month that survive that look than thirty thousand that don't.
-
02
Framed and quiet
The cover sits a millimetre back from the base rim, so the edge reads as a shadow line instead of a lip. The test is whether the wall looks calmer with the plate than without it.
-
03
Changeable, not permanent
Screws imply a final answer. A magnetic cover is a standing offer to change your mind — repaint the room and swap the face, not the hardware.
-
04
Edited colour
Eight matte finishes, not a colour chart. Three that agree with the wall, five that are meant to be the one deliberate accent in the room. The discipline is the edit.
-
05
Respect the room they built
You already made the taste decisions. Our job is to finish what you started, not to put our look on your wall.
